Ana Lopes, Illustrator

Ana Lopes is a highly skilled illustrator with a specialization in children’s books and multiple years of experience in various creative fields. Known for her ability to craft enchanting, humorous, and heartwarming characters and scenes, Ana’s work radiates a magical quality that captivates audiences of all ages. She excels in both digital and traditional media, working seamlessly with tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Krita, as well as watercolor, acrylics, and colored pencils.

Ana’s journey as an artist began in her childhood, with her passion for drawing growing from an early age. At just 12 years old, she was awarded the title of Best Children’s Illustrator in São Paulo in a contest organized by the city's government. This early recognition laid the foundation for a career rich in creativity and artistic exploration. Although Ana pursued formal studies in art at SENAC, her success as an illustrator stems largely from her self-taught expertise, which has allowed her to develop a distinctive, versatile style.

In addition to her illustration work, Ana has extensive experience in animation, a field in which she brings her characters to life with the same warmth and playfulness that define her illustrations. She is also the co-founder of ArtCat, a creative channel focused on animation, where she not only designs characters and environments but also teaches basic drawing lessons to children.

Ana's work continues to inspire and bring joy to her audience, both through her published works and her growing presence in the world of animation and children’s education.
